As part of the general interest in things Victorian, the last decade has seen a huge surge in demand for Victorian-style
conservatories. But the fascination with "glass houses" has not been confined to residential structures: Restaurants,
hotels, museums, and other public buildings have been adding glass enclosures and "crystal palaces" to provide customers
with scenery and a sense of the surrounding natural environment -- all the while being safely under cover.
Many of the suppliers of residential conservatories are now also providing larger, commercial-scale glass enclosures. The
list below provides a good cross-section of the market for glass structures, everything from conventional greenhouses to
large, elaborate, custom-built Victorian crystal palaces imported from England.
