Creating Artistic
Roof
Tile
Our Craft
Vande Hey Raleigh have become master craftsmen in the art of roofmaking by creating the most beautiful custom-crafted roof tiles between the earth and sky. Today, we continue to craft roofs of distinction using a rich palette of styles and colors, a blend of tradition and innovation, and imagination as limitless as the stars. Above all, Vande Hey Raleigh roof tiles are made with that most rare ingredient: time. In this era of mass production, we take the time to lavish each one of our tiles with handcrafted precision, the time to innovate new products and processes, and the time to develop enduring customer relationships.
Vande Hey Raleigh roof tiles are the height of beauty and innovation. Our exclusive, handcrafted tiles grace historical buildings, stately homes and office developments from the U.S. to Japan. Each of our custom-crafted tiles is inspired by your dreams and created with a blend of old-world tradition and new-world innovation.
We take pride in creating roofs of contemporary elegance for new construction and roofs of ageless beauty for restoration projects. Whether fired by imagination or inspired by antiquity, the distinctive beauty of our roof tile is only enhanced with the passing of time. Learn more.

Vande Hey Raleigh takes pride in creating roofs of contemporary elegance for new construction and roofs of ageless beauty for restoration projects. Whether fired by imagination or inspired by antiquity, the distinctive beauty of our roof tile is only enhanced with the passing of time. Learn more.
Residential Projects
If you dream it, we can do it. We turn dreams into reality with a master artist’s respect for time, tradition and detail. Inspired by the finest artists, our design and installation teams work closely with each of our customers to create a distinctive look. Learn more.
Shake Roof Tile
The wood-like appeal of Shake roof tile makes it a natural choice to recreate the charm of turn-of-the-century America. Shake roof tile richly replicates the natural beauty of a real wood shake with its rough-hewn top surface, ragged edges and rugged butts, but with the peace of mind of a Class-A fire rating. Each custom-crafted tile is raked in even strokes or brushed in an uneven pattern to impart the natural depth, distinction and shadows of real wood. Shake tile is often laid in a staggered pattern, a technique perfected by Vande Hey Raleigh. Staggered patterns are available for other flat tile styles, such as Slate, Brushed and Cotswold Stone. Learn more.
Turrets and Pans
The classic lines of Spanish Pans and Covers lend a look of Mediterranean antiquity to any style of home. Their gently tapered, smoothly curved cover and coordinating pan create a stunning roofline with a dramatic interplay of shadows reminiscent of another age and time. Non-tapered pans and covers can be used for conventional sloped roofs. Learn more.
