IV. Before. Violating all principles of spacious design,
this site is poorly divided, static, and overgrown.

After. The lattice fence (soon to be covered with flowering
vines) provides a barrier without a sense of enclosure.
They leveled and created a raised bed open to the garden.

Curving lines bring softness and romance, while plants and
handmade tiles add interest, providing that small spaces created
within the garden enlarge and invite.

Details of tiles: fish, frog, swan with signets, and two pelicans. The tiles were made by McKannay Studios (contact them through the author).
