Allied Window, Inc.

Allied Window is a manufacturer of "invisible" custom aluminum storm windows for historic and other renovation projects on commercial or residential buildings. Their products have been used extensively on historically certified projects, including Faneuil Hall and The Old State House in Boston, which are owned by the National Park Service. Units are custom designed to adapt to existing window openings.

The emphasis is on achieving the optimum balance of:

    Features of Allied's "invisible" storm windows:

  • Inside or outside mounted

  • Can handle very large openings

  • Custom-matched colors

  • Custom shapes are routine

  • Fixed, magnetic, sliding, or lift-out designs

  • Special glazing up to 3/16 in., including tempered, low-E, laminated, tinted, or bent glass, as well as acrylic or polycarbonate products

  • Screens available for all products, with variety of screen-mesh materials

  • Mini-blind system (between glass) with remote operation.

    Exterior Applications:

  • Historic One Lite (HOL); inside removable; no exterior hardware; operating unit available

  • Allied One Lite (AOL); inside or outside removable

  • Bowed Storm Windows in bent glass, Plexiglas, or Lexan

  • Custom Screens with many screen-mesh options

  • Protective Glazing for stained-glass security

    Interior Applications:

  • Allied One Lite (AOL) fixed or operating interior screen available

  • Magnetic One Lite (MOL) uses glass; operating model available; stacked units available

  • Monumental Magnetic One Lite (MMOL) for large openings

  • Wood Magnetic One Lite (WMOL) custom-color wood frame

  • Slide-A-Way (SAW) sliding panels and/or screens

  • Mini-Blind System between glass (MOL) remote louver adjustment
