Authentic Designs museum quality lighting fixtures are custom handcrafted colonial and early American historic period reproductions. For over 70 years, the company has been making electric candle lighting using techniques and materials prevalent in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Skilled American craftspeople employ brass,copper and wood to shape and form parts used in the making of chandeliers,sconces,lamps and lanterns. Original candle lighting fixtures are available on most models. All electrified fixtures are approved by and listed with Underwriter's Laboratories. Workshops tours of Authentic Design's retail showroom in beautiful southern Vermont may be arranged in advance or by visiting the facilities weekdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Printed catalogues are also available.
