HB&G offers
a broad line of synthetic porch parts. The first column company
to manufacture a synthetic column, HB&G has remained
the leader, offering PermaCast sizes through 22-in. diameter and
26 in. long. Ornamental capitals for all columns are made of Polywood
(HB&G's polyurethane), and are virtually maintenance
free.
The HB&G line also includes PermaPosts for porches,
PermaPorch Railing, newels and brackets to make a complete porch
package. PermaPosts are white, made of polyethylene and can be
used as is or painted. They are available in 5-in. and 6-in. diameters
and 8-ft. and 9-ft. lengths. They are load-bearing and are easy
to install using ordinary carpentry tools.
PermaPorch Railing, HB&G's newest product, is a system
of rails and balusters constructed of expanded PVC which, unlike
fencing, has the appearance of the finest wood railing. Both square
newels and a turned pattern are offered along with interchangeable
ball and pyramid tops. This system works well with both PermaCast
columns and PermaPosts.
The recently expanded porch-bracket line currently offers 12 choices
of brackets and one centerpiece. These products are made of Polywood,
HB&G's polyurethane. They are easy to install, economically
priced and are permanent. When combined with other HB&G
products, the brackets help create a wonderful Victorian atmosphere.
They may also be used in other applications.
HB&G, while specializing in the products discussed
above, also manufactures fireplace mantels, entrance pediments,
pilasters, sidelights, transom sash, spindles, balusters, rails
and newels, columns, and turned posts in pine. Their lines include
polyurethane entrances, ceiling medallions, and mouldings. Specifications,
dimensions, and line drawings of all these products are available
on their Website: www.hbgcolumns.com.
Convenient distributors and dealers may be located by calling
