At Stephen Chase Contracting we specialize in the restoration, repair, and maintenance of old houses.Although we specialize in Colonial and Victorian era houses, our company has completed many light commercial projects over the years. We have done projects for the Phineas S. Newton Library, the Orange Historical Society, the Wheeler Memorial Library, and participated in a Downtown Improvement Grant project.
Our old house services include woodwork restoration, carpentry and structural repairs, exterior painting and repairs, interior painting and wall coverings, roofing, and wood siding. The repair and restoration of wooden doublehung windows is a specialty of ours. We also do complete kitchen and bath replacements, and custom cabinetry.
Our small crew is only able to take on a few big projects per year, so bookings are scheduled months in advance. We hold MA Construction Supervisor License #044817, and MA Home Improvement Registration #105168. Our Worker's Comp and Liability Insurance policies are always in force.
