In a New Light. A specialty of Aurora's is to refurbish historical fixtures with state-of-the-art light sources. By doing so, we can boost the efficiency of the fixture without changing it's original appearance. We take joy from making something old new again. Or as we like to think, better than new. As a UL shop, our primary concern is to wire fixtures for safety and ease of installation.

Aurora Lampworks has been in the restoration and custom lighting field for more than 2 decades. Over the years we have expanded our core group of craftspeople with in-house lighting designers, blacksmiths, and a conservator to insure the best results for variety of lighting projects we take on. We have respect for our cultural antiques and take joy in bringing them new life. We are confident of our ability to take on any project you might have. Much of our work is for municipalities, houses of worship, and businesses located in a landmarked building. We are interested in preserving our cultural antiques and also conserving our natural resources. We like to retrofit antique lighting fixtures with state-of-the-art lamps (bulbs) to allow the original fixture to give more light using less energy while cutting down maintenance costs.
