San Francisco mural artist Lynne Rutter is widely recognized as an expert decorative painter and colorist. Her studio produces fine art murals and historic painted ornament as well as original period-inspired designs for extraordinary interiors across the country.

Traditional techniques such as trompe l'oeil, chinoiserie, faux finishes, stenciling, and gilding, are employed to restore or recreate period interiors, and create inspired new work. From intimate scale works of fine art, to grand scale rooms, Lynne Rutter's designs are site-specific and can be produced in the studio on canvas to be installed anywhere.
