In 1978 a patented clear polycarbonate snow guard known as Snojax was introduced to the industry. This practically invisible system is used for controlling dangerous releases of snow and ice on sloped metal roofing. Snojax was the first and remains the leader in polycarbonate snow retention.

Snojax I is a mechanically fastened model that features two feet with predrilled screw holes and a large face with drainage holes. The Snojax II, introduced in 1985, was the first ever, non-penetrating, adhesive or screw down polycarbonate snow guard. This innovation paved the way for a non-obtrusive standing seam snow guard that does not cause roofs leaks or panel damage.

The SnoBlox line features two unique sizes of patented snow guards that fit most metal roof panels. The larger “Ace” model will fit more common panels while the “Deuce” model is capable of fitting panels with narrower rib spacing. The waffled texture on the underside almost tripled the bonding power of the glue, eliminating the need for large obtrusive bases. The forward mounted flat faces provide optimal leverage to hold snow and ice stationary. Both models can be screwed down or adhesive mounted. An optional strap kit for shingle mounting is available for the Deuce model.

The innovative VentSaver products protect roof vents, chimneys and masts thus eliminating the need for costly and unattractive crickets. The VentSaver may be used on roofs with or without snow guards.

For our customers who prefer a bar system, we offer a system called Snobar. This system, with the optional ice stoppers is available in bare stainless steel or the entire system, including components, can be painted to match the roof. This proven system is the first to utilize a unique clamping system that crimps to structural standing seam roofing. There’s also an optional screw down U-Bracket mounting system available.
